The Auto Tilt Umbrella at Home and in the Public

 

An auto tilt umbrella is good for everyone, from the very fair to those tanning machines who can’t get enough sun. Whatever your M.O., umbrellas provide valuable protection from UV rays, shade and coolness. Plus, they look pretty snazzy in one’s backyard. There are three main types of auto tilt umbrella: commercial, patio, market and beach, each specially designed in look and function to meet various needs.

 

Commercial

Commercial is a broad term that categorizes the different types of umbrella not for private use. These versions are similar to one another in that they are constructed to last, made from heavy-duty aluminum frames. They are mass-produced in a variety of colors and patterns, and businesses normally purchase more than one umbrella at a time.

 

Patio

Patio umbrellas are the kind people buy for their homes. They are intended mainly for private residential use on patios, decks, in backyards, etc. More often than not, they’re designed to fit into patio tables as part of a unit, but sometimes people prefer to own the freestanding umbrellas which rely on a heavy base support. The pole and ribbing is typically made out of aluminum, with finials made from metal bell caps. These umbrellas can be either manual or auto tilt. To operate the auto tilt umbrella, either a crank, collar tilt or shade-dial feature is employed.

 

Market

Market umbrellas are more costly than standard patio umbrellas, and are thus used mainly in commercial areas, like restaurants and clubs, though they work just as well at home. This type of umbrella has either a single or double vent on top as they tend to be larger and need extra protection against blowing over from wind. It may be an auto tilt umbrella with aluminum frame and crank mechanism or the pole can be made from wood and operate on a rope pulley system. The market umbrella is typically freestanding and thus requires a base.

 

Beach

Beach umbrellas are distinguished by their uniquely pointy pole ends, which are used for securing them in the sand. Most of them are not a type of auto tilt umbrella, mainly because of their prolonged exposure to such elements as sand, wind, saltwater, and more. Not having a tilt feature is what allows them to withstand the windy Oceanside environment. Their poles may be made either from aluminum or wood, and they often come with matching carrying bags, especially the ones made for individual and portable use. Their finials are made with plastic bell caps, as metal rusts more quickly with saltwater.

 

 

For at home, whatever type of umbrella you choose, take into account the size of your area and what size of umbrella will fit there. A 6-foot umbrella has six panels and ribs, while umbrellas between 7.5 to 11 feet (the maximum size)  in diameter have eight panels and ribs. However, as an exception to that rule, the 8.5 standard umbrella has 12 of each.

 

After you pick out the size and type, make sure to maintain your auto tilt umbrella so that it lasts longer. The best way to do is by closing the umbrella when it is not in use. Outdoor umbrellas are made from durable frames and tear-proof and waterproof fabrics, but even that is not enough to protect against long-term damage. In the winter months, bring your umbrella into storage.

so my mom decided to take my 360 away,because i cant play on week days
but she took it with the game inside of it

No, it should be fine. To be sure though, when you get your system back, after you plug it back in, push the eject button (Not the power button). This way, you system will power up and it's first action will be to extend the disk tray. You'll be able to ensure that the disk is properly seated before it attempts to spin up.

Usually, the only time you'll have damage to the game disk, is if the console changes position while a game disk is spinning (being played). For example, you're playing MW2, and your console is standing up vertically, then your cat brushes up against and knocks it horizontal. Then you'll have be left with a game disk that looks like you took a brillo pad to.
